Cedar Path is dedicated to transforming the lives of at-risk Indigenous youth by fostering a sense of cultural identity, leadership, and purpose. Through elder-led teachings, restorative practices, and youth-driven community initiatives, we create opportunities for healing, growth, and positive change. Our programs provide mentorship, skills development, and support networks that empower youth to break cycles of violence and build a stronger future for themselves and their communities

Our Core Initiative: Pathways to Growth
Pathways to Growth: Empowering Indigenous Youth Through Culture & Community
A program dedicated to reconnecting at-risk Indigenous youth with their heritage through elder-led ceremonies, community engagement, and leadership opportunities, fostering self-sufficiency and strengthening cultural identity.
Cultural Reconnection
Youth engage in traditional ceremonies, teachings, and storytelling led by elders, helping them rediscover their roots and build a strong cultural identity.
Elder Mentorship
Guidance from elders provides wisdom, support, and life skills, offering a sense of belonging and direction for youth navigating life’s challenges.
Community Engagement
Participants contribute to volunteer projects, fundraising events, and local initiatives, reshaping how their communities view at-risk youth.
Leadership & Self-Sufficiency
By taking an active role in planning and decision-making, youth develop confidence, independence, and the skills to create positive change.
Positive Alternatives
Structured activities, such as cultural workshops, sports, and creative projects, provide youth with healthy, meaningful outlets to break cycles of violence and substance abuse.
Pathways to Opportunity
Through skill-building, networking, and mentorship, the program helps youth access resources that promote education, career growth, and a brighter future.
Community is at the heart of everything we do.
At Cedar Path, we believe in creating space where people feel seen, supported, and connected. Our work brings youth, elders, and families together to build stronger ties and shape positive change from the ground up.
Building Together.
Our vision for community isn’t just about gathering—it’s about creating lasting connections. Whether it’s through conversation, collaboration, or shared moments, everything we do is rooted in supporting each other.

Culture is our foundation.
Honouring Indigenous traditions, teachings, and ceremonies is central to our vision. These practices connect us to who we are, guide how we move forward, and remind us of the strength that comes from community and identity.
“Études has saved us thousands of hours of work and has unlocked insights we never thought possible.”
